As a Customer Service Representative your duties are key to the agency's success! This position will assist in servicing insurance policies with the goal of becoming an account manager.
A previous background in P&C insurance is preferred but not required.
One must possess strong customer service skills, and attention to detail.
YOU WILL LEARN TO Provide customer support by talking with customers, posting payments, answering phones, while processing changes.
Support Account Managers & Producers with sepecial projects, and retaining, reviewing, and writing new business.
Over time you will have the opportunity to acquire a Property & Casualty license which will allow you to build upon your experience and advance your career in the industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately maintain all customer information in the computer management system.
Take claim information, collect premiums, submit the proper documents to the carriers, and verify that documents received are correct.
Data Entry / Vertafore AMS360 Management System.
Issuing Certificates.
Answering phones and incoming email/mail Help with Marketing for new customers Speak with customers and company personnel on the phone or in person during office visits and respond to all correspondence.
Assist all Account Managers - in the servicing and writing of customers REQUIREMENTS You will be required to obtain a P&C Insurance License within 90- 180 days of employment.
Candidates who are already licensed are encouraged to apply.
Proficiency with AMS360 and PL Rater preferred, but willing to train.
Demonstrable experience with Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel.
Excellent keyboarding skills and overall computer skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize and self-manage workload in digital workflows.
Confident and outgoing Prior business office support experience a plus.
Once Licensed - You will provide additional Personal Lines support where you will receive advanced insurance customer service training and be mentored by experienced Account managers.
